Does more jets mean better massage?

While it may seem that hot tubs with more jets would provide a better massage, this is not the case. In fact, the number of jets in a hot tub is not necessarily a good indicator of the quality of the massage it can provide.

At Great Bay Spa & Sauna, we believe that the key to a great massage is not the number of jets, but rather the design and placement of the jets. Sundance® Spas uses advanced jet technology, called Fludix® jets, to deliver targeted, adjustable massage to specific areas of the body, rather than relying on sheer volume to deliver a massage. This allows you to target specific muscle groups and help alleviate tension and soreness.

In addition to deep tissue massage, Sundance® Spas also offers Swedish-style massages and Shiatsu pressure point-style massages.

By offering a variety of massage options, Sundance® Spas allows you to choose the massage experience that best meets your needs and preferences. Whether you want a deep tissue massage to work out knots and tension, or a gentler Swedish-style massage to relax and unwind, you can find a hot tub that delivers the massage you want.

To find the hot tub that is ideal for you, we recommend scheduling a wet test at our showroom. During a wet test, you can try out different hot tub models and experience firsthand what it’s like to sit in them and use the various features—including the various massages they offer.

What does Plug and Play mean?

A “plug and play” hot tub is a type of hot tub that can be plugged into a standard household outlet rather than being hardwired into your home’s electrical system. This makes it easier to install and set up, as you don’t need to hire a licensed electrician to make the connection. Instead, you can simply plug the hot tub in and start using it right away.

While plug-and-play hot tubs are convenient and easy to use, it’s worth noting that they are generally less powerful and have fewer features than hardwired hot tubs. If you want a hot tub with more advanced features or higher power, you may need to opt for a hot tub that requires hardwiring. In this case, you will need to hire a licensed electrician to make the connection to your home. If you need help finding an electrician, our team can provide you with suggestions and supply the wiring specifications to ensure that the installation is done safely and correctly.
