The NSO-46 is a compact 4′ x 6′ outdoor sauna needing only 24 sq. ft. of surface area. The Finnleo NorthStar Outdoor Sauna’s simple panel construction makes it easy to assemble in a few hours anywhere you have space — on a backyard patio, poolside, or even under a deck. Nordic White Spruce lines the interior and exterior (the exterior must be painted or stained after installation), with benches, backrests and all bather-contact surfaces in clear Aspen or Abachi. Metal roofing, an integral floor with waterproof vinyl surface, an all-glass bronze-tinted door and a bronze-tinted insulated sidelite window are all standard, and the SaunaLogic2® control means you never have to go outside to turn the heater on.
The SaunaLogic2® control can be activated from anywhere. Worldwide mobile functionality lets you take your control with you and set your sauna up to be ready when you are. The intuitive glass touch screen display lets you control timing, temperature, lighting and system status. Bluetooth functionality is built in to support an optional audio kit, and within the mobile app you can set up preferences by user, manage calendar programming and control all sauna features.
All Finnleo sauna series include color therapy lighting systems, discreetly integrated into the backrests or ceiling. In addition to white light, the LED lighting system can create six different colors — red, green, blue, yellow, turquoise and violet — so you can choose the color according to the mood desired.
Traditionally, saunas are built of Scandinavian or Nordic whitewoods — worldwide, more than 90% of all saunas are constructed of this wood type. Finnleo's Nordic White Spruce is always European Grade A, harvested from the tops of trees more than 70 years old, with tight living knots. Because it is grown in Finland north of 60º latitude, near the Arctic Circle, it is an unusual softwood without the usual porous characteristics. Sweat doesn't impregnate the wood as it can with other species, so the sauna smells fresher and emits a subtle forest scent as it heats.
Every Finnleo sauna room includes an all-glass door with hardware. NorthStar and Euro saunas use bronze-tinted glass, and where room size allows they add bronze-tinted insulated sidelite windows.
Backrests carry integrated low-voltage LED lighting with the RGBW color light therapy system. Hallmark rooms use a 6-bar backrest, NorthStar and Euro a 2-bar backrest, and the Designer saunas vary by model — Centurion a 2-bar wide, Solace a 3-bar, Twilight a 5-bar with bench skirts.
Hallmark and InfraSauna rooms include a built-in floor with vinyl surface, which makes cleaning and maintenance a breeze. The integral floor with waterproof surface is standard on the NorthStar 44 and on all NorthStar Outdoor saunas, and is available as an option on the other NorthStar indoor models and on Vita II.
NorthStar Outdoor saunas include metal roofing as standard. Euro saunas use a front-to-back sloped roof, with metal roof kits available on the smaller models.
Every traditional Finnleo sauna ships with a bucket and ladle so you can throw water on the rocks and enjoy löyly from the first session.
